Free tool for hotels
Guests now ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude where to stay. We check whether those assistants can reach your website, understand it and send guests to book — and tell you exactly what to fix.
This takes about 20 seconds. Keep this page open.
We couldn't check this site
Ask your web developer or host whether a firewall or "bot protection" setting blocks automated visitors, and allow the AI crawlers you want (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot).

Why it matters
More and more travellers start with a question to an assistant: "a quiet family hotel near the beach in Sozopol", "a spa hotel in Bansko with a pool". The assistant reads hotel websites, compares them and names a few. If it can't open your site, can't tell what you offer or can't find where to book, it names someone else.
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude quote what they can read on the web. Your own website is the source you control.
Check-in times, distances, room sizes and whether pets are allowed are exactly what guests ask about. If they aren't written down, AI can't answer.
When an assistant can link to your booking page, the guest books with you. When it can't, it sends them to a booking platform.
Built for this
Every hotel website on HotPilot ships with what this checker looks for, kept up to date as your rooms and prices change.
Hotel, rooms, offers, amenities, location and reviews described for machines, generated from your live data.
A plain-text summary of your hotel for AI tools, with rooms, policies and how to book.
An MCP endpoint lets assistants check availability and real prices and hand the guest a link to your own checkout.
Server-rendered pages, prices and availability on your own domain — no booking platform in between.
FAQ
How the free AI readiness check works and what to do with the result.
Online
Yes. You don't need an account and you don't have to leave your e-mail to see the full result. If you want the report in your inbox, you can ask for it on the result page.
Online
We open your homepage the way a browser does and again the way ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity crawlers do, read your robots.txt, sitemap and llms.txt, and look at up to seven pages that matter to guests: rooms, booking, contact, location, FAQ, offers and house rules. 33 checks in five areas are graded green, amber or red.
Online
No. It only reads public pages, the same way a visitor would. It doesn't log in, fill in forms or store your pages.
Online
Amber means it partly works or that we saw something worth checking. For example, when your site sits behind a firewall that challenges crawlers, we can't tell from outside whether the real ChatGPT crawler gets through, so we ask you to check the setting instead of guessing.
Online
Start with the red findings: they cost the most. Most fixes are small — a robots.txt rule, a page title, a line about check-in times. Hotel schema, llms.txt and booking from AI assistants take more work; HotPilot websites include them.
Online
After every change to your website, and at least every few months. A result is kept for an hour; after that you can run a fresh check.
Free, no sign-up, about 20 seconds. Then fix the reds first.
